As per the latest update so far, 184,553 students have created their accounts for the bike scheme. Out of which, 67,335 students have submitted their applications. Out of these applicants, 53,145 students have applied for the petrol bike scheme, while 14,190 students have applied for electric bikes.
Divisions Under The Scheme
If I talk to you about which areas can apply for this scheme, then let me tell you that students from any city in Punjab can submit their applications for petrol bikes. Whereas for electric bikes, applications can be submitted only from 5 districts, which are as follows:
- Lahore
- Rawalpindi
- Faisalabad
- Multan
- Bahawalpur
Eligibility Criteria
Students need to fulfill the following eligibility criteria to complete their registration in the Punjab Bike Scheme:.
- Age Limit: The age limit for submitting applications is 18 years.
- Student Status: To apply for the BIKE scheme, male and female students must be regular students of any university or college approved by HEC.
- Driving License: To apply for e-bikes, a student must have a driving license or a learner’s permit.
- Identity Card: As the age of the student is above 18 years to submit the application, the applicant must have a national identity card.
- Legal Status: A student cannot complete the registration for this scheme if he or she has a police case against him or her.

Students need to complete the following steps to complete the registration for the e-bike scheme:
- First, visit the official website of the Punjab Bike Scheme at bikes.punjab.gov.pk.
- Create your account to apply.
- After creating an account, fill in all the required information within the registration form.
- After filling out all the required information on the registration form, upload the soft copies of all the required documents.
- Read the information given on the application form carefully to avoid any kind of mistake.
- After making sure all the information is correct, submit the application form.
