Benazir Taleemi Wazaif Program
Benazir Taleemi Wazaif is a conditional cash transfer program launched by the government of Pakistan. The purpose of which is to provide financial assistance to promote education from primary to higher secondary levels among the children of active Kafalat beneficiaries of BISP. The program, named after the late Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto by the Government of Pakistan, offers active beneficiaries of the Kafalat program to complete child registration by completing a few simple steps.

Benazir Taleemi Wazaif Eligibility Criteria
Following are the eligibility criteria required to enroll children in the Taleemi Wazaif Program for the beneficiaries of the Kafalat program.
- The mother of the student should be eligible for Benazir Kafalat.
- Age Limit of child is 4-12 years for enrollment in Primary Education
- Age Limit of child is 8-18 years for enrollment in Secondary Education
- Age Limit of child is 13-22 years for enrollment in Higher Secondary Education
- To avail of the Taleemi Wazaif program, the child completing the registration must be enrolled in a government school or college near his or her locality.
- In order to join the program, children must have more than 70% school attendance.
Remember, as I mentioned at the beginning of the article, that this is a conditional cash transfer program. So if you want to complete the registration of your child, then you need to meet the given eligibility criteria. You may not be able to complete your child’s enrollment if you do not meet the eligibility criteria.
Required Documents

- CNIC of the mother or father.
- B-Form of the student.
- School/college/university ID card.
- Domicile certificate.
- Income certificate.

How to Apply for Benazir Taleemi Wazaif
After knowing the eligibility criteria, if you want to complete the registration, the procedure is very easy. The Benazir Income Support Program invites prospective families to the nearest BISP offices in their tehsil to complete the registration process easily. By going to where you can now complete the registration process by following a few easy steps
Following are the steps to complete the registration from the office for your complete guidance:
- Go to the nearest BISP tehsil office along with the child you want to complete the registration.
- After going to the office, provide the child’s birth certificate and the mobile number of the head of the household to the concerned officer present there.
- After which, the concerned officer will complete the verification process and issue you an enrollment slip for registration.
- After getting the slip provided, go to the child’s school and get it filled.
- After filling out the slip, submit it back to the BISP office to the concerned officer.
- After which, the staff of BISP offices will check the enrollment slip completely. The child’s stipend will be released after meeting the eligibility criteria.
