If you are also involved in farming and are a resident of Punjab and you want to get a special subsidy on the purchase of agricultural machinery by completing your registration under this project launched by the Punjab government, So you have to fulfill the following conditions.
- The applicant must own a tractor of at least 50 horsepower.
- Owner/farmer of agricultural land up to 25 acres in canal areas and 50 acres in rainfed areas
- The farmer/service provider will be obliged to provide services on hire to other farmers during the project period.
- Application has not been made from any other center or district of Punjab for procurement of machinery or equipment under this scheme.
- Bookings must be made with approved firms/companies within 10 days of the issue of the allotment letter; otherwise, the financial assistance will be considered canceled, which cannot be challenged in any court, and the assistance will be given to the next eligible applicant on the waiting list.
- The machinery shall not be sold or transferred to any other person in any form during the first four years.
- The applicant shall undergo one-day training in operation, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance under the Assistant Agricultural Engineer/Assistant Director Agricultural Engineering of the concerned district and shall abide by the decision of the Allotment Committee.
