The Benazir Kafalat Program was started in 2008 by the former Prime Minister of Pakistan, Benazir Bhutto. Eligibility Criteria for Benazir Kafalat Registration
Women who are forced to live below the poverty line due to financial instability can join the Kafaalat program by completing a few simple steps. But to join the program, women have to meet the eligibility criteria set by the government, which are as follows:
- Women from families living below the poverty line.
- Women who have never traveled abroad.
- Such women whose monthly household income is less than 50 thousand rupees.
- Women whose household poverty score is below 32.
- Women who are not part of any other government assistance program.
- Such women are not employed in any government institution.
- Apart from this, women whose husbands have passed away are the sole breadwinners of the house.
Required Documents
Where the eligibility criteria for joining the program have been set by the government, it is also necessary for women to have the following necessary documents to complete the registration process:
- CNIC Card
- Proof of monthly income
- Household electricity or gas bill
- Death certificate of husband in case of female widow
- Special disability certificate in case of female disability
NSER Survey For Benazir Kafalat Registration
If you meet the eligibility criteria mentioned above and you have all the necessary documents to complete the registration, then let me tell you how you can complete your registration. If you want to complete your registration, then you have to go to your nearest BISP office. As soon as you go to your nearest BISP office, you have to complete your NSER survey From the representative present there. Remember, this process of the NSER survey is called the registration process. In this survey, you will be asked different types of questions, including: what is your monthly income?, how many people are there in your family?, are you employed in any government organization?, etc.
After completing the question phase, you will be asked for all necessary documents for verification. After which, fingerprints will be taken for your verification. And your survey process will be complete. After which, the verification phase of the information and documents collected from you by BISP will begin. During verification, if you meet the eligibility criteria and your poverty score falls below 32, So you will be included in the program, and you will be notified through SMS 8171. After which, you will be able to receive financial assistance of 10500 every quarter.

If you have completed your registration recently or it has been a long time since you completed your registration, but you have not received any type of SMS from 8171 yet, So in this case, you don’t need to worry because it is normal. So if something similar happened to you, then you can check your eligibility online through an alternative method, for which you need to follow the below steps.
- First, open the 8171 web portal through your mobile device or computer.
- After opening the portal, enter your ID card number.
- After entering the ID card number, enter the captcha code shown on the front.
- And press the find button.
- And the complete details of your eligibility are in front of you.
Payment Update for Active Beneficiaries
Beneficiaries who were waiting for the release of new payments are now going to end. Because the quarterly payments to the active beneficiaries of the Benazir Kafalat program on behalf of the Benazir Income Support Program are starting to be released tomorrow, Active beneficiaries can collect their amount by going to the nearest BISP camp sites established in their tehsil.
