The Benazir Income Support Program has started the registration of transgenders in the Benazir Kafalat Program. BISP Kafalat Program 2024 Registration for Transgender Persons

This program is the first project of its kind to be launched for the financial and social support of transgenders across the country, under which financial support is provided to transgenders. To be a part of this program, you have to fulfill the standards set by the government, after which you will be able to be a part of it. After joining this program, financial assistance of Rs 3,000 will be provided to transgender women above 40 years of age. 2,000 monthly financial assistance will be provided to disabled transgender women between the ages of 18 and 40.

Along with this, after joining this program, the government of Pakistan will provide employment opportunities to transgender people in private companies so that they can lead a happy life like the rest of the population.

Eligibility Criteria

For joining this program, some criteria have been set by the government; only those who meet them will be able to be a part of it. The standards set are as follows:

• All transgender people must have a transgender identity card to be a part of this program.
• Along with this, it is mandatory for disabled transgender persons to have an ID card for persons with disabilities.
• Remember, eligible transgender people can get registered at any branch of the Bank of Punjab along with their National Identity Card for Transgender.

How to Apply for Benazir Kafalat Program 2024 for Transgenders?

To register in this program you have to follow some steps. Let me give you the details of these steps.

• First of all you have to register yourself as a transgender in the identity card issued by NADRA. This is important because it is proof of your identity and eligibility.
• After that you have to go to the nearest tehsil office of Benazir Income Support Program and register yourself in the dynamic survey there. This survey collects information about your household, income, expenses and other details.
• After that you have to wait for a message from 8171. This message will confirm your registration and inform you about the scholarship amount and frequency. The stipend amount is usually Rs 2000 per month, but it may vary according to your situation and needs.
