BISP New Policy About Survey: The Benazir Income Support Program is currently working day and night to provide financial support to millions of deserving people across Pakistan. which is providing financial assistance to millions of poor and deserving people to reduce poverty in collaboration with the government of Pakistan. So that the rate of poverty can be minimized by providing financial assistance to them. Recently, some new policies have been introduced by the chairperson of the Benazir Income Support Program.
According to the new policies introduced by the BISP, people who have completed their NSER survey will soon start receiving assistance money. If you have not yet completed your NSER survey and you want to get financial assistance, then you have to go to the BISP tehsil office and complete your survey as soon as possible.
In the survey, you have to provide all the necessary information, including the monthly income of household members, educational qualifications, etc. This article provides you with some important requirements of the BISP by which you can assess your eligibility.

Eligibility Criteria
If you want to benefit from being part of Pakistan’s largest social security program, you need to meet certain eligibility criteria, which are as follows:
- You must be poor or deserving to join this program.
- Only families with a monthly income of 30,000 or less are eligible for this program.
- You must have any property in your name to join this program.
- No one in the family of the person joining this program is in government employment.
- If you want to join this program, make sure that you have never traveled abroad from Pakistan.
- Widows who want to be a part of the program must have their husband’s death certificate.
- Persons with disabilities must have a disability certificate issued by NADRA to join the program.
- If you do not have a Pakistani identity card, you cannot be a part of this program.
BISP Payment Verification
The Benazir Income Support Program is one of the best steps taken by the government of Pakistan for poverty alleviation. It is specially designed keeping in mind the poor and deserving people within Pakistan. If you have completed your registration under this program and you have received the SMS from 8171 about the release of the aid money, then you will be able to get your aid money soon. You can use the payment centers set up by BISP to collect your aid amount.
After going to the payment centers, you will be able to get your assistance amount after getting your biometric verification. Remember to carry your original National Identity Card with you when you go to collect your money to avoid any kind of difficulty in paying the money. Also, if your biometric verification fails, you can get your money using the method of getting money without biometric verification.
If you have not received the payment SMS from 8171 even after completing the registration, then you do not need to worry. Take your original identity card and go to your nearest Benazir Income Support Program tehsil office to verify your eligibility. Once the eligibility verification is completed, the payment will be made to you promptly in case of eligibility.

New Registration SMS Code
Various social media platforms are circulating rumors about the release of a new code for BISP registration. However, it is important to clarify that Benazir Income Support has not introduced any new code. The registration process for BISP remains exclusive to code 8171. So never trust any other code.
Also, remember that if you receive any SMS regarding registration or payment from any other number other than 8171, report it to the nearest Benazir Income Support office.
