- Students of Faisalabad, Multan, Bhawalpur, Rawalpindi, and Lahore will be eligible for E-Bikes in the first phase of the Punjab bike scheme.
Eligibility Criteria
- Students above 18 years of age
- To apply, male and female students must be regular students of a degree college or university.
- The applicant must possess a driving license or learner’s permit, without which the application cannot be submitted.
- Applying students must have a Pakistani identity card.
- The applicant must also be a permanent resident of Punjab.
- The applicant student should not be involved in any illegal activity.
Important Questions Regarding E-Bike Scheme
Can a student apply offline for this scheme?
No, a special portal has been set up by the Punjab government to complete the registration for this scheme. Interested students can submit their applications online through this portal. Apart from this, there is no other procedure to apply for this scheme. So all the students can go to the portal established by the government, create an account, and complete the registration.
What type of bike is being offered under the Punjab Bike Scheme?
Many students want to know what kind of bikes the Punjab Bike Scheme is providing. For such students, let me tell you that the Punjab government is providing two types of bikes under the scheme to provide maximum travel relief to the students. These include 19,000 petrol bikes and 1,000 electric bikes. A total of 20,000 bikes are being provided within the first phase, but it is hoped that the second phase will be started soon.

Can the choice of bike be changed after submitting the application?

Can unlicensed students complete the registration to get a bike?

The main reason for this is not having a driving license. Yes, students who do not have a driving license cannot create an account to complete the registration for the scheme. In simple words, registration for the Bikes Scheme cannot be completed without a driving license.
Can two bikes be applied for E-bike scheme?
Students who want to know if they can get two bikes can submit an application. For such students, let me tell you that you can apply for only one bike, and it is not possible to apply to get two bikes.
Can students from any province other than Punjab apply?
Students who belong to any province other than Punjab and want to know whether they can also submit an application for this bike scheme. So for such students, let me tell you that only residents of Punjab can apply for petrol bikes. While for E-Bike, students belonging to any province other than Punjab can submit applications. But the applying student must be studying in any educational institution in Punjab.
