Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif formally launched the Chief Minister Punjab Green Tractor Program through digital balloting of the Green Tractor Scheme. According to which tractors will be provided to 9500 lucky farmers in the first phase, it should be remembered that the Punjab government is providing a subsidy of 10 lakh rupees per tractor. In the draw, Muhammad Yasin, son of Muhammad Ashraf from Okara, became the first farmer to get a green tractor, while Talib Hussain, son of Muhammad Hussain from Chakwal, became the second farmer. And similarly, Ghulam Akbar, son of Haji Ghulam Hussain of Dera Ghazi Khan, became the third farmer to get a green tractor. A Roadmap For Successful Farmers

During the ceremony held on the occasion of the draw of the Punjab Green Tractor Scheme, the Chief Minister of Punjab also announced to give 1,000 more tractors free of cost to the farmers. In this regard, he said that the Punjab government will distribute 1,000 tractors among the farmers who cultivate wheat on 25 to 50 acres of land.
