Who can apply for the E-Bike Scheme?
- Only students from Punjab for petrol bikes
- For electric bikes, students belonging to Punjab as well as other provinces who are studying in any government educational institution in Punjab.
- Students who have an ID card
- Students who have a driving license
- Students who do not have a driving license but have a learner’s permit can also apply.
- Apart from this, students who are from any other province except Punjab cannot apply for this scheme.
- Apart from this, students who are involved in any illegal activities or have any kind of police case against them cannot apply for this scheme.

Punjab Bike Scheme Latest Registration Update
CM Punjab has launched the Chief Minister Punjab Youth Initiative to distribute 20,000 bikes to students who are currently enrolled as’regular’ students in degree programs of any public or private university or graduate college across Punjab, duly recognized by the Higher Education Commission. And the registration process for this is going on with a bang. According to the latest update, more than one lakh male and female students from all over Punjab have completed their registration.
