Conditions and Benefits for Kisan Card
Farmers from across Punjab who want to get a Kisan Card need to fulfill the following conditions:
- A farmer must own from one acre to 12 acres of land.
- This facility is not available for contractors.
- Farmers’ land records must be available with the Punjab Land Record Authority.
- Farmers must have a SIM card registered in their name.
- The farmer should not be in default with any bank or financial institution.
- Farmers must have a Pakistani identity card.
- Farmers must be permanent residents of Punjab.
- Farmers should not be indebted to any bank.
- The farmer should not be involved in any illegal activity.
- The loan amount must be repaid within 6 months from the first use of the card. In case of delay, an additional deposit of 29% of the total loan amount will be required.
