On behalf of Chief Minister of Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif, the registration of the Punjab Kisan Card has been started once again for the prosperity of farmers. This initiative has been taken for the prosperity of the farmers by the Punjab Government with the mutual cooperation of the Bank of Punjab and the Punjab Agriculture Department. With this initiative, farmers belonging to Punjab will be able to get loans of up to one and a half lakh rupees per crop cycle in easy installments. From which they will be able to easily buy essential items like fertilizer and seeds for their crops.

Conditions and Benefits for Kisan Card

Farmers from across Punjab who want to get a Kisan Card need to fulfill the following conditions:

  • A farmer must own from one acre to 12 acres of land.
  • This facility is not available for contractors.
  • Farmers’ land records must be available with the Punjab Land Record Authority.
  • Farmers must have a SIM card registered in their name.
  • The farmer should not be in default with any bank or financial institution.
  • Farmers must have a Pakistani identity card.
  • Farmers must be permanent residents of Punjab.
  • Farmers should not be indebted to any bank.
  • The farmer should not be involved in any illegal activity.
  • The loan amount must be repaid within 6 months from the first use of the card. In case of delay, an additional deposit of 29% of the total loan amount will be required.

  • Farmers will get the facility to get loans up to one and a half lakh rupees for one crop.
  • Farmers will be able to get subsidies on the purchase of fertilizer, seeds, and other essential items.

  • National Identity Card (CNIC)
  • Proof of ownership of land (document issued by an individual or patwar office)
  • Farmer’s Pass Book (if any)

Punjab Kisan Card Registration Process

SMS Registration

The registration process for farmers to get a Kisan Card has been made very easy. Farmers can complete their registration process by writing the PKC space ID card number and sending an SMS to 8070. This is the easiest process to complete registration at home, which ensures efficient registration.

Online Registration

  • Create a Mobile Wallet or Account: Create a mobile wallet or account through a bank or mobile service provider on your mobile phone.
  • Buy Kisan Token Bundle: Buy Kisan Token Bundle, which is required for registration.
  • Fill out the application form. Go to the nearest Tehsil office and fill out the application form there.
  • Submit Necessary Documents: Submit your identity card (CNIC) and proof of land ownership.
  • Get a Kisan Card: When your application is complete, you will be notified to collect your Kisan Card.
