On the special instructions of the Prime Minister of Pakistan, Mian Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif, the new registration of Benazir Kafalat program has been formally started. The initiation of new registration shows the determination of the Prime Minister of Pakistan for the poor and deserving people. The purpose of this article is to provide complete details to those people who are willing to complete their registration but are unaware of the complete procedure to complete the registration. Eligibility criteria and documents required for registration

Eligibility criteria to complete registration in the Kafalat program and details of documents required for registration are listed below.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Pakistani identity card.
• Being a resident of Pakistan.
• No person in the family of the registrant is a government servant.
• The monthly income of the family wishing to complete the registration should be less than Rs 60,000.
• The person completing the registration should not be indebted to any bank.
• Widowhood of women completing registration

Necessary Documents:

• A scanned copy of the identity card.
• Proof of monthly income
• Electricity bill
• Gas bill

Who are not Eligible for Benazir Kafalat Program?

Following individuals are ineligible for Benazir Kafalat Program:

• Those whose monthly income is more than 60 thousand rupees.
• Persons whose family members are government employees.
• Persons who are not Pakistani residents.
• Persons who do not have a Pakistani identity card.
• People whose poverty score is more than 32.
• People who have ever traveled abroad.

Procedure to Complete Benazir Kafalat Program Registration

If you meet the above mentioned eligibility criteria then you must complete your registration process. Remember, after completing the registration, you can benefit from the Benazir Income Support Program as well as other government programs. Now let me tell you about the registration procedure.

• First, take all your necessary documents with you and go to the nearest BISP office.
• After going to the office, get the token to complete your survey from the representative present there.
• After getting the survey token, wait for your token number.
• As soon as it is your turn, go inside the survey registration room.
• The representative there will complete your survey after asking you various questions.
• After completing the survey, your fingerprints will be verified.
• Once the verification is complete, you will receive an SMS at the provided number.
• Your survey completion should be confirmed within the received SMS.
• Doing so will complete your registration process. And if your PMT score falls below 32, then you will be made a part of the Benazir Kafalat program.

I want to tell one thing to those who want to complete the registration here. The registration process can be completed only through the office. So if someone tells you to complete the registration process online, it will be a complete lie. BISP does not have any such facility at present. So don’t choose any other option other than the office to complete your registration.

Apart from all these women who were earlier receiving financial assistance from the Benazir Kafalat program but were later declared ineligible by the government, So such women can follow the procedure mentioned above to get their registration done again. Let me tell such women that the financial assistance provided by the Benazir Income Support Program in the month of June has been decided to be given in the month of May itself. Such women will now be able to receive their money on May 13.
