Is it mandatory to have Kisan Card to apply in tractor scheme?
The Punjab government had earlier made it mandatory to have a Kisan card to complete the registration in the tractor scheme. However, later this condition has been abolished; now such farmers can also complete their registration who do not have Kisan cards. But it should be remembered here that farmers whose land records will not be available in the Land Record Center will not be able to complete their registration process. Therefore, farmers who want to complete their registration for the tractor scheme should first go to their nearest land record center as soon as possible and get their land record updated; otherwise, the registration cannot be completed.
Last Date To Complete Registration
Recently, a new update has been issued by the Punjab government according to which the farmers who wish to get subsidy under the green tractor scheme can complete their registration before October 10. The last date for completing the registration is October 10, and after that, the registration process will not be completed. Therefore, farmers who want to avail subsidy of up to Rs.10 lakh on the purchase of tractor are advised to complete their registration before October 10.
